Rainier cherries are an excellent source of antioxidants that help protect our cells from damage caused by free radicals. Their best-kept secret includes vitamins A and C, copper, potassium and anthocyanins which are known to have anti-inflammatory properties they also have a high fiber content and anti-aging properties!
Taste
Rainier cherries are a perfect balance of sweet and tart. They have a crisp bite with just the right amount of sweetness that makes them irresistible!
Origin
Rainier is a cultivar of cherry. It was developed in 1952 at Washington State University by Harold Fogle, and named after Mount Rainier. It is a cross between the Bing and Van cultivars.
Shipping
First come first serve, any orders that can't be shipped this season will be reserved for next season.
The total weight of each box varies depending on the size, shape, and mass of the fruit:
- Small Box contains up to 10-12 lbs
- Large Box contains up to 20-22 lbs
We ALWAYS recommend ordering a LARGE BOX for the best value, when compared to a Small Box. The large Box will contain more fruit and ultimately a better value.
